Hi, followers...

I am closing down this blog and moving to learn2bebuddies.wordpress.com ... this blog is on Networked blogs at The_learn_to_be_buddies_series if you want to follow there.

The new blog will talk about issues related to each book as we release them, as well as give you information about all our new releases. So I am starting off with a series of articles on bullying as this is the theme behind Dave is Brave.

This is the cover of the DVD which we are releasing at our book launch this Saturday. We hope to publish this in August 2010.

Our new book addresses sharing...

Here is a little synopsis of our new book...

Imagine two children rushing excitedly to home corner. In home corner is a favourite doll. They both grab the doll.

A tug-of-war ensues.

The doll breaks.

Tears are shed.

And the teacher, Mr. Solomon, helps to repair and resolve the situation.

The book is called "Why Don't You Share?"

For Learn to be Buddies 2010 signals the first birthday of Dave is Brave and the introduction of Why Don't You Share! To celebrate, we are having a party by the Lake.

The Countdown to our Birthday Party begins...

Now we have all (kind-of) recovered from Christmas, it is time to think about the New Year.

For Learn to be Buddies 2010 signals the first birthday of Dave is Brave and the introduction of Why Don't You Share! To celebrate, we are having a party by the Lake.
When?
Saturday the 16th January, 2010. We will start at 10.30 am and finish around 1.30pm.

Where?
On the Warners Bay foreshore on beautiful Lake Macquarie. Our activities will be set up in the Warners Bay Rotunda, the Esplanade, Warners Bay, NSW.


What?
We are having a story-time, party games, 2 hours of "make and do" activities, lucky dip and a pinata. You can download the schedule from our website.


This is not a formal meeting, just a casual day by the lake. You can join us at any time, bring a picnic and stay for as long or short as you like. We are not providing food or drink or child-minding facilities - but there are many shops and cafes near-by, and we will be running children's activities. All children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
